Coronavirus rate in Scarborough still rising
46 new cases have been recorded in the borough in the last 24 hours.
A further 46 new coronavirus have been recorded in Scarborough, in the last 24 hours.
The borough is averaging more than 60 cases every a day over a seven-day period, as its seven-day infection rate per 100,000 people has jumped up to 391, having stood at 375 yesterday.
Scarborough’s infection rate remains below the average for England, which is 608 and also the average for North Yorkshire, which is 399.
Mobile testing sites will be in Whitby, Scarborough and Filey at different times during the week, for people with coronavirus symptoms to get tested.

Scarborough’s walk-in coronavirus testing site at William Street Coach Park is offering testing seven days a week, from 8am until 8pm.
Appointments for all sites must be booked in advance.

People who do not have access to the internet, or who have difficulty with the digital portals, can ring the 119 service to book.
