People from the Borough of Scarborough who turned down the covid vaccine are being told it’s OK to change their minds.

The top four cohorts have been receiving their first dose, but some people decided they were not going to have the jab.

Jane Hawkard is from North Yorkshire's Clinical Commissioning Group and said:

"For those people in the top four priorities who did not come forward for their vaccines but have now changed their mind, it's not too late.

"We know that some people are still hesitant but we would like to say that the vaccines have been vigourously tested prior to being approved.

"We really don't want anyone left behind and we would encourage them to contact the national booking online service. Once you've had your vaccination, it's still important to continue following Government guidelines."
