Scarborough Borough’s coronavirus infection rate has risen again.

Scarborough’s coronavirus infection rate has risen again.

Having dropped to as low as 98 on Friday borough’s seven day infection rate per 100,000 people now stands at 106, up one from yesterday.

The average infection rate for England stands at 187 while in North Yorkshire it is now 124.

Mobile testing facilities will be available in Whitby, Scarborough and Filey in the coming days for anyone with symptoms to get tested.

William Street Coach Park in Scarborough is still offering testing seven days a week from 8am until 8pm.
