Scarborough Borough’s coronavirus infection rate has fallen once again.

Scarborough’s coronavirus infection rate has fallen once again.

The borough’s seven day infection rate per 100,000 people in Scarborough now stands at 123, down from 132 yesterday.

It is the lowest level for the borough since November, with Scarborough still averaging around 19 new cases every day.

The average rate for England is 382 while in North Yorkshire it is 222, both slight reductions on the previous day.

Mobile testing sites will be in Whitby, Scarborough and Filey this week for anyone with symptoms to get tested.

William Street Coach Park in Scarborough is still offering testing seven days a week from 8am until 8pm.
