Scarborough Athletic have said they are working to identify 'individuals involved in the disorder' after a number of incidents in recent games.

The Seadogs have enjoyed a good start to the National League North season, but say these events from a 'very small minority... are tarnishing the name of the club.'

A club statement said:

"In addition, we are putting additional safety measures in place for future matches. Scarborough Athletic takes its responsibilities for spectator safety and enjoyment very seriously. We consult with all the relevant authorities and assess the risks before every game, to put in place the required match day procedures and comply with the regulations under which we are governed."
