Man taken to hospital after assault in Scarborough

Police are appealing for information after an incident on St. Nicholas Street

A man has been taken to hospital after an assault in Scarborough.

It happened on St. Nicholas Street at around 2am on Sunday (16th January) and police say the victim was assaulted inside and outside Sanctuary bar.

A group of men believed to be in their 20s were involved.

A man had to go to hospital where he received treatment for his injuries.
