Lifeguard and coastguard rescue injured fisherman off Scarborough
Call out is one of two shouts in a day for the RNLI volunteers
Volunteers from the RNLI in Scarborough have worked with the coastguard helicopter to rescue a man injured on a fishing boat.
They were called out to the vessel three miles off the coast yesterday.
Paramedics decided not to transfer the crew member to the lifeboat or helicopter and he was taken ashore on board his own boat.
It was the second shout responded to by the crew of the rescue charity yesterday, the first having been an engine fire on a boat.
