Puffins to stay on Yorkshire Coast until Easter
The sculpture trail will stay in place until the spring 2023.
There's some good news for fans of the Puffin Galore! trail that's scattered around the Yorkshire Coast.
The 42 sculptures, which are all individually designed, will be staying put a little while longer.
Originally, the puffins were going to be removed in November this year, but as a result of huge popularity, that's now been extended until Easter 2023.
More than 100,000 people have visited the puffins already.
The giant sculptures are in place in coastal locations, including Bridlingon, Hornsea, Withernsea and Spurn Point.
Organisers of Puffins Galore! say "thanks to additional support from key partner, Yorkshire Coast BID and project partner Visit East Yorkshire, the sculpture trail will remain in place until the end of the Easter holidays next year."
It means for anyone whos yet to get a chance to spot all the puffins, or maybe who want to see them all again, there's a bit more time to get a visit in.
Each puffin has been sponsored by a local business, and painted by an artist.
Once the trail comes to a close in April 2023, then the puffins will be auctioned off for charity.
