The Prince and Princess of Wales will visit Scarborough next week to launch funding to support young people's mental health, in a collaboration spearheaded by the Royal Foundation.

During the visit on Thursday 3rd November, they will meet and engage with local organisations who will benefit from the funding which has been created from the collaboration between The Royal Foundation of The Prince and Princess of Wales and the Two Ridings Community Foundation.

Prince William and Kate will also see first-hand how community organisations are rallying to help those who are struggling with the rising cost of living.

The last couple of times Scarborough had a Royal visit was Her late Majesty The Queen and her husband Prince Philip back in 2010 for the opening of the Open Air Theatre.

The Queen's cousin, the Duke of Kent, also visited the town earlier this year for the Armed Forces Day national event back in June.
