People in Bridlington and the East Riding who are at high risk from COVID-19 are being urged to get a flu vaccination.
The county's Clinical Commissioning Group says it's due to the increase in the number of coronavirus cases.
It's asking those who were shielding, the vulnerable and young children to get their free jab.
"Flu is a serious condition that kills on average about 11,000 people in England each year and hospitalises tens of thousands more.
Adults at high risk from flu are also at high risk from Covid-19 and we know that if you get both infections are the same time, the outcome can be very poor.
There is enough to vaccinate the eligible groups and high risk groups. It's uncertain whether or not there will be enough to do all healthy 50 to 64 year olds.
However, we are confident that more supplies are coming later on in the year, so these patients will be contacted towards the end of the year.
The flu and Covid-19 are both viral infections that give quite a lot of respiratory symptoms.
But, if you develop a new cough, a high temperature above 37.8 or lose your sense of taste or smell, you should arrange to have a Covid swab within the next day.
Those eligible in the high risk categories will be contacted by their GP and invited to come in to get their free flu jab. Or if they prefer, they can pop into their high street pharmacy for their free vaccine. Children who are at school will be given the vaccination at school and care home residents will be vaccinated in their care home."
