Scarborough's MP says he's not worried about people and cars being on the seafront.
It's after several were out and about on the North and South Bays yesterday afternoon.
The Leader and Chief executive of the borough council have publicly asked visitors to stay away.
But Robert Goodwill says this lockdown is different to the first one.
He said:
"We know more about the disease now.
In April, we closed all the schools - we now understand more about the way the infection affects younger people, how they're not affected, how transmission rates are not the same amongst younger people.
We also know that transmitting the disease outdoors is not very likely to happen."
139 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in the borough over the weekend.
It's brings the seven-day infection rate up to 5 hundred and 77 per 1 hundred thousand of the population..
