There is going to be some timetable changes for trains between Hull and Bridlington.

Northern says it has taken the 'difficult decision' to return to one train per hour from December.

Tony Baxter, Regional Director at Northern, said:

“Like many industries, we are still feeling the impact of COVID-19 and our planned timetable for December 2021 reflects this.

“We provided additional services between Hull and Bridlington during the summer to support the seasonal economy, and in the new timetable will be increasing the number of services between Hull and Leeds . With finite resources and increasing demand on other routes during the winter, we had to take the difficult decision to return to one train per hour between Hull and Bridlington from December – with additional services during peak times.”

Tony added:

“We will, of course, continue to review our services and welcome all comments and suggestions as we work to develop future timetables.”

“We fully understand the concerns of those using our trains between Hull and Bridlington and we are doing all we can to provide the best possible service for our customers who are very much at the heart of everything we do.”
