A new vaccine Health and Wellbeing bus is coming to Bridlington today.

The bus will be on New Pasture Lane Community Centre from 11am and 3pm with no appointment needed to get a vaccine.

The mobile jab unit has so far made two four hour stops in Hornsea and Withernsea.

It comes as East Riding of Yorkshire Clinical Commissioning Group stated it launched its vaccine bus despite the success of the East Riding roll-out because of the area’s “large rural” nature.

It is aimed at those who may have had difficulties getting a vaccine at a centre in the East Riding or who have otherwise been unable to have a jab so far.

The NHS’s vaccine booking system is available at: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/book-coronavirus-vaccination/ or by calling 119.
