Work will start today, on replacing the council’s popular Belvedere chalets in Bridlington, located on the South Beach, towards the end of the promenade.

The existing chalets are being removed and replaced with brand new ones of the same type, in shades of blue and white, designed to give them a seaside feel.

The work to replace the 20 chalets in this location is scheduled to take about a week.

The Belvedere chalets are booked up until June, after which there is some availability.

General manager, coastal, Kirsty Salisbury, said:

“We felt it would be a great idea to boost what we can offer in Bridlington by renewing these chalets, and I am delighted that we can upgrade these facilities, offer an even better experience, and help to keep the town on the map for visitors all year round.”
