Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust’s Your Health Lifestyle and Prevention service is offering support and guidance for residents of the East Riding, through its Mental Health and Wellbeing Coaching sessions.

While this support is available to all residents, there is an ongoing focus on those who may be experiencing feelings of stress, worry and anxiety over the current Ukrainian crisis.

It is important to the Your Health service that people know what support is available to them and that they reach out for support.

Whether they feel that they simply need a listening ear, or key guidance and techniques to help them get through these times, the service’s Mental Health and Wellbeing Coaches are equipped to provide one-to-one support based on:

  • Stress reduction
  • Lessening worry and anxiety
  • Tackling low mood and depression
  • Addressing loneliness and isolation

The service offers this support completely for free through Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust, and include up to 6 hours of one-to-one support, to help people attend to health mental health and wellbeing needs, improving their overall lifestyle with the support of specialists locally.

Team Leader at Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust, Ryan Nicholls, said:

“We know times are extremely difficult right now and that more people than ever may be experiencing feelings of stress and worry. We believe our service can be a meaningful intervention and we encourage anyone in the East Riding to come forwards, if they feel they would benefit from our coaching sessions. We are here for you.”
