CCTV Released Of Wanted Man After Serious Assault On-Board Bridlington Train

Police have released CCTV of a wanted man in connection with a serious assault on-board a train from Bridlington to Hull.

Police have released CCTV of a wanted man in connection with a serious assault on-board a train from Bridlington to Hull.

Officers say on Thursday 17 September, the victim and his dog boarded the Hull-bound service, operating between 6.35pm and 7.20pm. During the journey, a young child from a family group on-board the train came over on several occasions to stroke the dog.

A man from the same family group then approached the victim and hit him over the head with a chain.

Police say the unprovoked violent attack left the victim requiring treatment at hospital for a head injury.
