Man seriously injured in Whitby disturbance

Police are appealing for witnesses

​Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously injured during a disturbance outside a Whitby takeaway.

It happened on Windsor Terrace at around 1pm on Saturday 18th June where a man got life-changing injuries as a result of being assaulted.

North Yorkshire Police have arrested five men in connection with the incident. They have since been released on bail while enquiries continue.
