Man kicked in the head in Scarborough

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for information about an assault

A man has been taken to hospital for treatment after being kicked in the head in Scarborough.

It happened on the Cinder Track near to Fieldside at around 9.45pm on Saturday 6th August and involved a man in his fifties being assaulted by a teenager and a man as he was cycling home from work.

One is described as being approximately 16-years-old and was wearing all grey clothing. The other is described as around 20-years-old, with a thin face, dark hair and wearing all black clothing including a hoodie.

The victim got a deep cut to his forehead which required treatment at Scarborough Hospital.

Police are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident. In particular, they are appealing for information about the people described.
