Man jailed for four years after incident near Bridlington

A man has been jailed for four years after an incident near Bridlington.

It happened at a holiday park in Skipsea on Saturday August 1st when a woman was seriously injured.

John Cook, 61, of Fagley Drive in Bradford pleaded not guilty to attempted murder. But he admitted to a new charge of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm.
