Man dies after being found in the water near Whitby Marina

Police say they have identified a man who died after being recovered from the water at Whitby Marina.
The alarm was first raised by HM Coastguard just before 9.00am this morning.
Police and ambulance services attended the scene but say tragically the man died.
A scene guard was set up to allow officers to carry out enquiries.
In an update, North Yorkshire Police confirmed that his death is now being treated as 'non-suspicious'.
The man's identity has not been revealed to the public.
