Man denies disturbing dolphins off the coast of Scarborough

Police say it is an offence under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981

A man has denied disturbing dolphins off the coast of Scarborough.

Christopher Barker, 44, who is from Brompton Carr Lane, is accused of intentionally or recklessly disturbing the mammals on the 9th of July this year.

Police say it is an offence under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981.

He has been remanded on unconditional bail set to appear back in court in February next year.
