A man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after an incident near Bridlington.

A man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder after an incident near Bridlington.

It happened at a holiday park in Skipsea on Saturday 1st August when a woman was seriously injured.

John Cook, 61, of no fixed abode appeared before Hull Crown Court yesterday (15th September).

He pleaded not guilty to attempted murder but admitted to a new charge of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm.

Mr. Cook has been remanded in custody until his sentencing in November.
