Scarborough man appears in court for attempted murder
It's after a serious assault in the town over the weekend
A man has appeared in court after a serious assault in Scarborough over the weekend.
It happened on Falsgrave Road at around 11.30pm on Friday 10th December when officers received calls from the public about a serious on-going assault involving a man and a woman.
A police helicopter was used in the search for the suspect who fled the scene.
23-year-old Jack Sutton, who is from Mount View Avenue in Scarborough, was charged with possession of an offensive weapon and attempted murder.
He has yet to enter a plea and has been remanded into custody set to appear back in court next month.
