Man charged with child sexual communication in Bridlington

A man has been charged with two counts of sexual communication with a child in Bridlington.

Simon Guy Shephard, 64, from the Promenade, was arrested on Friday 3rd September when it was reported a man handed out literature of a sexual nature.

He has been remanded in custody and is set to appear at Hull Crown Court on Monday 4th October.

Humberside Police would ask anyone else who has been handed a card, or whose child has been approached in similar circumstances, to contact them on 101, quoting crime reference 16/87395/21.
