Man breaks collarbone in Scarborough assault

Police are appealing for information

Police in Scarborough are appealing information after a man sustained a broken collarbone after being punched and stamped on.

The assault happened at around midnight on Saturday 14th January on St. Thomas Street near to the Sun Inn.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital.

Police say the suspect is described as a white man, around 26 years old, 5ft 11in tall and of stocky build. He had dark hair and a dark beard and was wearing a dark top with a half zip on the front, and blue jeans.
