A man has been arrested in Bridlington following a warrant at a property in the town.

Officers from the Bridlington neighbourhood policing team were joined by colleagues from Humberside Police's Operation Galaxy team to carry out a misuse of drugs act warrant at an address on Trinity Road this morning.

Officers say as a result of the warrant a quantity of tablets, thought to be a controlled substance, have been seized and a wanted man has been arrested.

The 27-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to supply and theft. He remains in custody whilst enquiries continue.
