The Department for Health has released the latest list of regional and local sites for coronavirus tests in Hull and the East Riding.

The department’s list shows there are a total of four locations, one regional testing site (RTS) and three local testing sites (LTS) in East Yorkshire.

Free tests are available to anyone showing the symptoms of coronavirus which include a high temperature, a new, continuous cough and a loss of taste or smell.

Government guidance states anyone who develops those symptoms should get a test within eight days.

Test kits are also available for home delivery between days one and 3pm on day seven and can be ordered at: https://www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test.

Home deliveries are not available after 3pm on day seven and those displaying symptoms should instead visit a test site.

Test site visits are by appointment only but are open seven days a week.

East Yorkshire’s sole RTS remains the Humber Bridge Car Park, off Ferriby Road.

Its three LTSs are in Inglemire Lane and Southcoates Lane in Hull and in Moorfield Road car park in Bridlington.
