Lewis Capaldi has cancelled his show at Scarborough Open Air Theatre.

The singer was due to perform at the Open Air Theatre tonight (Thursday, 11 August).

But that's now been pulled and we're told it's due to illness.

The organisers have issued this statement:

'We are sorry to inform you that Lewis Capaldi’s show at Scarborough Open Air Theatre will not be going ahead due to illness.

'We wish Lewis well and a speedy recovery and hope to welcome him back to the Open Air Theatre in the future.

'Ticket holders will receive a refund and will be contacted directly by their ticket providers.'
