A further 501 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus across Hull and the East Riding, as of yesterday (Thursday, February 10).

The Government’s latest rolling figures show the number of infections recorded across the region was 2,303 for Hull and 2,536 in the East Riding in the seven days up to Saturday, February 5, the latest with weekly data available.

The figures come as Scotland’s Health Secretary, Humza Yousaf, accused Prime Minister Boris Johnson of signalling an end to coronavirus measures by the end of this month, to distract from the ongoing Downing Street lockdown parties scandal.

They also come as AstraZenica forecast higher sales in 2022, after making around £2.9bn from sales of its coronavirus vaccine last year.
