Firefighters tackle kitchen blaze in Scarborough
It broke out at a property in the town just before 2pm this afternoon (Friday)
Firefighters were called to tackle a blaze which broke out in a kitchen in Scarborough this afternoon (Friday).
It happened in a three storey house in the town just before 2pm.
Crews from Scarborough and Filey responded and went to the scene.
They successfully extinguished the fire using a hose reel, and ventilated the property using a positive pressure ventilation fan.
