Appeal for information after burglary in Scarborough

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for information about a burglary in Scarborough.

It happened on Royal Avenue Road between 2pm and 3pm on Saturday 18th June and involved a large green suitcase being stolen from a home after the owners returned from a holiday.

Officers are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, they are appealing for information about any sightings of this suitcase and descriptions of anyone who was in possession of it.

They would also like to hear from anyone who may have any CCTV, dashcam or doorbell camera footage that may have captured something.
