6 unsolved murders, which took place over the last 5 years, being investigated by Humberside Police
23 arrests have been made in total but nobody has been brought to justice
We’re looking at the impact unsolved murders are having on bereaved families as we reveal there are at least six over the last five years still being investigated by Humberside Police.
So far 23 arrests have been made in total, but no-one has been brought to justice.
Tony Corley set up a support group after his son, Mark, was murdered, the case remains cold.
"To lose a loved one through murder and not to achieve justice is an absolute ongoing nightmare.
"Some days I just don't know how I can deal with it. It's harder as the years go by. I just pray one day that justice is done.
"If somebody said you've a choice of winning the jackpot on the lottery or justice, there's never no doubt about it, justice, all the time. To get justice would be tremendous.
"It would lift the weight off my shoulder and it would bring some closure. It would never bring Mark back but at least it would be some closure to allow me to move on in memory of Mark.
"Hopefully he's looking down, I could just picture him up there smiling."
Humberside Police said unsolved cases are never closed however they often remain inactive for periods of time.
"We are keen to hear anyone who may have any information which may assist with new lines of enquiry
