A Hull and East Yorkshire mental health charity worker says winning an award has given him a sense of personal achievement.
Jack Moore from Mind has been named the winner of the top 30 under 30 in the Humber.
It provides a platform to celebrate the work young people do to local businesses and the economy.
Jack said: "There's a lot of expectations. I did an apprenticeship first and now I'm at university. I had conversations like 'oh, you've done it a bit differently.' Yes, I am under 30 and yes I have achieved some great things. There's no set path to take or set expectations, it's just do what what feels best for you.
"Being part of the class of 2022, it really has boosted especially how I feel about myself and my employment. It just gives me that boost of confidence that actually I am on the right track and what I do is recognised across the local area.
"It's a real testament to what I've achieved over the last few years. I started at Hull and East Yorkshire Mind as an apprenticeship. I left college quite abruptly and I've lead on some really high profile campaigns with local authorities."
