Man suffers "serious head injury" in Bridlington

Police in Bridlington are investigating after an incident in the early hours of this morning (Thursday 26th August).

Officers were called to a property on Marlborough Terrace around 1.30am, to reports a man had sustained a serious head injury.

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Witnesses are now being urged to get in touch with Police.

In a statement, Humberside Police added: 'We would particularly like to speak to residents of the Promenade area of Bridlington or anybody who may have any information about the incident who hasn't already spoken with us to please contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 86 of 26 August.'
