Harrogate to face Leeds in FA Cup third round
A tie at one of the Championship's biggest clubs is the reward for Harrogate fans
Harrogate Town will get to face Championship opposition in the third round of the FA Cup.
It'll be a Yorkshire derby too - with a trip to Elland Road to play Leeds United.
The third round sees the 44 clubs from the Premier League and Championship enter the competition, joining the 20 lower-league and non-league sides who won in the previous round.
Jordan Ford, from the Harrogate independent supporters club said;
"Financially, it's such a massive game for the club, and one I'm sure we'll see the benefits of for years to come.
"For the players as well, it'll be a great experience for them to walk out at such a big ground in front of all those supporters.
"There's lots of neutral fans in Harrogate, and I hope they'll get behind the club and watch the local team".
