A further 26 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Scarborough in the last 24 hours.

It brings the borough’s total since the start of the pandemic to 938.
The borough’s seven-day rolling rate of infection has jumped as a result from 69 to 80 per 100,000 people but remains the lowest in North Yorkshire.
Tomorrow, a mobile testing facility will be in Scarborough at the Seamer Road park and ride site before arriving inn Whitby at the Guisborough Road park and ride site the following day.
The testing has been organised by the Department of Health and Social Care which has warned people to not just turn up but make an appointment first.
There are two ways to do this depending on which testing group you are part of.

People who do not have access to the internet, or who have difficulty with the digital portals, can ring the 119 service to book.
