Free family activities in Bridlington

East Riding of Yorkshire Council says there are free events in Bridlington for families to take part in.

It is part of Active East Riding and the events run until Tuesday 10th August.

These events are part of the Holiday and Activities Programme providing free things for families to do over summer. It’s free to attend, no need to book and people can just turn up. Big Difference

"When family days in became the norm, Father Mark and son Josh put their time in lockdown to good use. Together they became the kings of Mario Kart, the sofa, and takeaways. Now that restrictions are easing and summer is almost here, daughter Holly is determined to make some small changes that will help make a Big Difference to her family’s health and happiness.

"Join one family’s journey of discovery as they learn to try new things.

"This fun, familiar and fast-paced play is followed by an interactive workshop and opportunities to get involved in the drama!

"Suitable for young people aged 7-11 and their families. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

The Kings Picnic

"Your mission, should you accept it, is to plan a perfect picnic for King Jelly-Spoon’s summer party. In this fun drama story workshop, we will work together to create an adventure using your amazing imaginations.

"This fun story drama session is designed for little ones and their grown-ups to play characters together make stories and have a brilliantly enjoyable time. It will also involve a little bit of crafting to use in our story adventure together.

"Suitable for 4 to 7 year olds and their families. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
