Scarborough Athletic has announced changes to some of its forthcoming fixtures, because of coronavirus in the area.

In a statement, the club said:

"Following the announcement of the change in our FA Cup fixture with Ashton United to a 'behind closed doors' game, we can now confirm that the current situation in the region will affect our next two home league fixtures. As such the matches against FC United of Manchester (Saturday 26 September) and Stalybridge (Tuesday 29 September) will be switched from home to away fixtures. The FC United home game will now be on Saturday 9 January, with the Stalybridge match on Saturday 3 April. We want to thank both clubs for their understanding and cooperation in this matter.

Tickets purchased for the FC United game will be valid for the new date in January. 7-bundle tickets for both games will also be valid for the new dates. If the new dates are inconvenient, refunds can be arranged by contacting the club.

FC United have given us an allocation of 90 tickets for Saturday's game at Broadhurst Park. We will be issuing a link to an application form for these tickets via a special newsletter to our mailing list. Successful applicants will make payment to SAFC and will be able to collect their tickets at Broadhurst Park on Saturday. Please do not contact FC United directly for tickets. Details for the Stalybridge fixture will follow shortly.

We will announce new dates and times for the collection of season tickets and bundles once venues have been confirmed. We apologise for the later than originally planned release of season tickets and bundles whilst the changes unfold.

Thank you for your continued support and understanding."
