Filey's MP says he does not think the Prime Minister or Chancellor should resign.

Boris Johnson has apologised after receiving a fine in June 2020 at an event where he was presented with a birthday cake.

His wife Carrie Johnson and Rishi Sunak have also been handed fines.

Kevin Hollinrake has tweeted saying 'no doubt mistakes were made' but he doesn't think either should step down.

Opposition parties are calling for the Prime Minister to resign over lockdown breaches with two polls saying more than half of voters agree.
