The MP for Filey says he is confident children going back to school is safe.
It is as they have been returning to class after lockdown.
Some worry about surfaces, like bannisters and stairways, being touched all day long.
But Kevin said:
"We have measures in place, as the risk of the spread of viruses on surfaces, so schools have to try and manage that; and I think the things they're doing like children aren't moving between classrooms, actually the teachers are moving between calsses, things like that that are sensible to prevent or reduce the risk of people spreading the virus in that way.
There are mitigation you can put in place and the disease is primarily spread through aerosol transmissions like coughs and sneezes so that's what you've got to be most vigilant about which is the wearing of masks and sensible hygiene."
