An Easter egg trail has started in Bridlington to help cheer residents up.
People were asked to submit a piece of art of something that shows what the festival means to them.
Maggie Masters, who is one of the organisers, said:
"They would then submit a photograph and I would give everybody a different letter of the alphabet, and the idea is to put these pictures on the trail page with an Easter joke; people look at the pictures, find the letters, unscramble them and they find the answer to the Easter joke.
"It took a lot of organising. After the successful Christmas trail, we thought we'd do an Easter one as we'd gone back into lockdown and it would give people things to do. So we sent out a request on Facebook and we had 50 entries in all so we've got six days worth of jokes for people to look at.
"People are all for it and they think it's a brilliant idea. We're starting small and hoping to aim big and we're hoping to make this a regular thing. Once people hear about it, we're hoping more people will join in and we're hoping to do another one in the Summer and again with our Christmas trail. People think it's such a good idea and it's given the kids something to do when they've been off school.
"Someone blew up a very large balloon, I think it's about 36 inches diameter balloon and they've made that into a Creme Egg lookalike. We've had people who've decorated their complete windows in their front rooms with bunnies, eggs and hanging things. We've had some people do the religious side of Easter."
