Three pedestrians taken to hospital after car smashes into lamppost in Scarborough

Three pedestrians have been taken to hospital after a car mounted a curb and smashed into a lamppost in Scarborough.
It happened on Seamer Road on Friday night, with two men and a woman who were walking along the road injured.
None of their injuries are life-threatening.
An woman in her 80s, believed to be the driver of the car, and a passenger were also taken to hospital, for non-serious injuries.
Officers want to speak to anyone who was in the area at around 20:30, and are asking to see any CCTV or dashcam footage.
