Student at Bridlington School tests positive for coronavirus
The pupil is in Year 7, but no students or staff need to self-isolate.
Bridlington School has confirmed that a Year 7 student has tested positive for Covid-19.
But in a letter to parents, they've said no students or staff need to self-isolate as a result.
The pupil concerned last attended the school on Thursday 24th September and did not display any coronavirus symptoms while in school.
As a result, they've been advised by the council and public health experts that there's no risk to other students or staff and they don't need to self-isolate.
The school have reiterated their message that the school remains open to all year groups and all pupils should continue to attend if they feel well.
