Bridlington Pair Appear In Court Charged With Fraud

A man and a woman from Bridlington have appeared in court for reportedly defrauding an elderly man.

Steven Kantecki, 43, and Sarah Kantecki,38, both of Westgate in Bridlington, were charged with fraud and possession of criminal property.

It is after an elderly Bridlington resident was scammed out of more than £180,000 pounds.

Steven Kantecki pleaded not guilty to fraud and possession of criminal property.

Sarah Kantecki denied the first charge but has yet to enter a plea for the second.

The pair are due to appear back in court next month and are on conditional bail until then.
