A Bridlington man has appeared in court charged with five offences after an incident last weekend.

A Bridlington man has appeared in court charged with five offences after an incident last weekend.

Ryan Laing, 22, of St Hilda Street was arrested on Saturday the 31st of October on Georgian Way in the town after he drove into a lamppost.

He's been charged with grievous bodily harm, drink driving, dangerous driving, having no insurance and driving without a licence.

Mr. Laing has yet to enter pleas and has been remanded in custody set to appear back in court at the end of this month.
