A group of Bridlington entertainers have been fundraising for Cash for Kids Mission Christmas.

They held a Facebook live over the weekend and have managed to raise more than £1,000 in just two weeks.

Ray, who is one of the organisers, said:

"I just wanted to do the fundraiser as in my heart I couldn't imagine being a kid and waking up Christmas day without a present and thinking there wasn't a Santa Claus. As children, it's really one of our dreams that we look forward to so when I heard about Mission Christmas, I just thought I would love to help by DJing and getting the other DJs together to do a live event was a realistic way to try raise some money and it actually worked. We raised £1,030 in two weeks in-between being at work and sorting out the event. Jamie Smith also helped out a lot too."

Here is everyone who has been involved: Ray O'Grady, Jamie Smith, Jake Jackson, Ade Carter, Steve Adams. Mark Santana. Kylie Hudson and Stu Montana.
