People in Bridlington and the East Riding are being asked to put their health and wellbeing first in 2021.

Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust’s Your Health Prevention and Lifestyle Services are calling the community forward to make 2021 a year to remember. It says beginning with those little lifestyle changes, it could have a big impact on physical and mental health.

The Service says they are there for you whether your New Year's resolution is to stop smoking, lose weight, seek support by connecting with others or boost your confidence.

Providing up to 8 one-to-one motivating and supportive sessions, the local Your Health team are at hand to help with:

• Smoking

• Weight management

• Alcohol consumption

• Stress and anxiety

• Physical activity

• Isolation and loneliness

Natalie Belt, Service Manager at YOURhealth, said:

“As a team, we want to put this year and its challenges behind us, and really take a positive stride with our community in 2021. It’s more important than ever that we all put our health and wellbeing first. If you need extra support to achieve your goals, our team would be pleased to help you.”

The YOURhealth service is free and open to East Riding residents. To get in touch, please contact the team via telephone 0800 9177752 or email HNF-TR.healthtrainers@nhs.net.
