A North Yorkshire break dancing group say they can't wait to see it in the Olympics.

The action in Paris gets underway this afternoon. 14 year old Oscar is part of the Blaze boys who practice in the community hall in Sherburn in Elmet.

"So this class is break dancing for between 9 and 16 years olds to get them out the house and get them moving. I enjoy it because it's not just breaking it's meeting new people and expressing yourself."

"It's really, really, tiring but you get used to it after a while, I've been doing it for about a year now and it gets easier as it goes on, because you get to know the moves and you get to know the people so it gets easier as it goes on."

"I think it's good that we've got certain clubs going on for us boys, because we tend to just sit on our play stations and Xboxes in our rooms, so I reckon if we can get out more it's better for the community and better to show the world what we're actually doing."

Ruth Johnson runs Union of Dance: "It's amazing that it's getting that sort of visibility on such a massive scale but obviously from blaze boys point of view it's amazing that young people will be seeing it on the TV over the Summer and be like I want to be involved in that so it's really great."
