Boy in hospital with serious injuries after falling near Flamborough Head
Emergency services were called yesterday
A boy has been taken to hospital after falling near to Flamborough Head.
Emergency services were called at around 3.40pm yesterday. Bridlington, Filey and Scarborough coastguard rescue teams along with Flamborough RNLI lifeboat and the helicopter from Humberside were all involved, as well as Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
The boy is being treated for an injury that is thought to be serious but not life threatening.
He was airlifted to Hull Royal Infirmary by the Coastguard.
