51 people arrested as part Humberside Police operation
Officers were out across the force area this week.
51 people have been arrested for various offences during Humberside Police's Operation Galaxy this week.
Officers say they were for various offences including grievous bodily harm, harassment, drugs related offences and burglary.
The force says since the start of the operation, the team have successfully reprimanded a total of 109 criminals as a part of their ongoing proactive work this month.
As a part of this week’s intensification the team, working in partnership with the Regional and Organised Crime Unit (ROCU), have been at the forefront of removing what are believed to be class A drugs from streets.
Humberside Police said:
"As we head into the weekend, working in partnership with neighbourhoods policing team #OpGalaxy will continue to carry out proactive work across our region in bid to continue to deter and tackle criminal associated with night time economy as life slowly returns to normal and covid restrictions are slowly eased.
